Betül Seyma Küpeli & Esra Özmen
Betül Seyma Küpeli (Dipl.Ing) born 1987 in Vienna, studied architecture at the Vienna University of Technology. Her diploma thesis dealt with the topic "Refugee Policy and Spatial Strategies in Austria". Her work includes urban planning approaches in relation to vacant land uses, building and planning law content, which are questioned and processed. Since 2014 she has been studying post-conceptual art at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna. She organized and curated architectural workshops, performance with artist groups and video works. Among others, she deals with topics such as socio-political and socio-cultural relations in 'hardcore neoliberalism', urban substance/ (public) space and a different understanding of city (politics) and the relationship between society and history.
Esra Özmen aka * EsRap (* June 21, 1990 in Vienna) is a rapper, visual artist, performer, songwriter, cultural worker, workshop leader in rap/song/rhyme/text. She graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in 2016 at the post-conceptual art class. Her work focuses on political aspects such as migration, education and freedom. Themes of her music are: the question of identity; language and racism, rap as resistance, gender issues, rap as a movement, womanhood in the hip-hop scene.
