“The Soundscapes of Resistance event series invites four artists/collectives from diverse cultural backgrounds based in Vienna to channel their artistic sonic practices into a powerful examination of healing, community and identity. It delves into shattered hopes for reform and freedom, encapsulating the complexities of our contemporary socio-political landscape.
Through an immersive auditory experience, Soundscapes of Resistance amplifies voices often marginalized within mainstream discourse, providing a platform for reflection, dialogue, and action. Each artist or collective offers a unique perspective, drawing from personal narratives, cultural heritage, and lived experiences to interrogate the myriad manifestations of disparity.”
