Jury-Statement:
"Hamdi Hassan's project communicates critical issues such as, equal rights for women, peace and human rights to the Somali community in Vienna. In each episode of the podcast, she brings up the important issue of social, political and economic equality and discusses it with other experts. In the podcast, she engages with different voices from the Somali community and seeks to provide a critical platform to intangible and invisible aspects of the cultures of this society. Women's equality and empowerment continues to be a major issue in the patriarchal society, which is why Hassan's project once again draws attention to the importance of a fundamental human right."
